Wendy Wheatley
Wendy brings her extensive experience as a solicitor to her mediation practice where she has provided support across Cambridge for 15 years.
Wendy has vast experience as a solicitor which has led to her achieving full recognition as an experienced mediator. Wendy is also involved in delivering training and presentations for both marketing and information purposes.
Specialisms
Wendy has experience in mediating divorcing and separating couples and more recently she has been involved in mediating between parents and the local authority in the area of SEND work.
Wendy is a trained presenter and completed the Level 3 Award in Education and Training in 2014.
Wendy is also an experienced presenter on the Separated Parents Information Programme and is additionally involved in delivering training and presentations for both marketing and information purposes.
Training and employment background
Wendy qualified as a solicitor in 1987 and worked primarily in areas of dispute resolution.
She has been employed by The Cambridge Family Mediation Service since 2005 achieving full recognition for All Issues Mediation from the Family Mediation Council in 2008.
Wendy says:
“I like the feeling that people have somewhere to go where they are going to be listened to, and no one is going to take sides or judge them at such a difficult time in their lives. Mediation provides a gentler way forward when people are at rock bottom emotionally.”
