Adrian Wright

With a professional and academic background in the probation service, criminology and psychotherapy, Adrian developed a successful multi-agency approach to adult forensic mediation in Northamptonshire (1986-1993) before training and gaining accreditation both as a civil & commercial and family mediator, professional practice consultant (ppc) and trainer.

Since 1998, as the first mediator and ppc to become accredited by the Legal Aid Board, Adrian has helped develop over forty mediation practices.  He was an external consultant to Northants Police for over twelve years and for seven years was the hostage negotiation consultant.

An assessor for the Family Mediation Council (FMC) and a member of the PPC panel, he is accredited by the FMC to deliver training in Child Inclusive Mediation, a genre that he is passionate about in the right circumstances.

Since 2019 Adrian has developed the Full Child Disclosure model in family mediation, as an aid to assessing CIM suitability and as a model for maintaining absolute child focus where CIM is unsuitable.
